At the heart of our business is the operational team in Broadcast Services. Having helped you successfully launch your channel, Canis can provide you with a range of cost efficient outsourced operational broadcast support services leaving you to focus on the creative and revenue side of the business.
• Channel Management: Canis can digitise your content, manage it, schedule it and create advertising breaks. We can build detailed play-out schedules and quality check the video to ensure smooth and accurate presentation of your channels.
• Scheduling: Canis will schedule all programmes, including promos, interstitials, bugs and commercials which are used to play out the channel.
• Software Licence: Canis can provide the appropriate software licence for a system used to deliver a schedule to a nominated playout centre.
• Library: Canis can maintain a database of all delivered programming detailing tape numbers, tape location and programme information. Canis will also keep a physical library of tape material if required.
• EPG Preparation and publishing: Canis can ensure EPG information is published in accordance with the broadcast platform’s requirements and can deliver EPG data direct to Sky in the UK.
• Traffic Co-ordination: Canis will liaise with all suppliers of broadcast, promotional, advertising or infomercial material to ensure accurate scheduling, delivery and ingestion of promo material at the playout centre.
• Channel Presentation: Canis can manage the programme promo placement and advise on channel presentation and schedule requirements.
• Campaign Audits: Canis can manage advertiser logs and ensure delivery to ATR for BARB reporting if required.
