Canis is pleased to be appointed as seller for Current TV’s EPG, 183.
Current TV have been unable to reach terms with Sky which would allow it
to continue broadcasting and has appointed Canis to find a buyer for its EPG
position, currently 183 in the Entertainment genre on the Sky platform. Note;
it is anticipated the position will move to 181 during Sky’s reshuffle of the
Entertainment genre in mid April.
The channel is currently on-air and will remain so until a sale is agreed.  The EPG slot is unencumbered by any contractual liabilities or commitments and is available
for immediate sale.  The purchaser will be free to make their own arrangements for satellite capacity, uplink and playout.
We would like to hear from interested parties and invite offers for the slot:
The closing deadline for initial offers will be Thursday 2 February 2012
Canis will manage this transfer on behalf of the vendor, but our team is able to provide channel launch and management services if required to the purchaser. The vendor is looking for serious offers for an immediate transfer. Canis Media has various solutions available to purchasers to keep the channel number alive at low cost if required. For more information please contact James Carter (james.carter@canismedia.com) or Fergus Lawson (fergus.lawson@canismeda.com).
